Normally, Media Monitoring News concentrates on issues and best practices in media monitoring and measurement, social media, media relations and other topics of importance in PR and marketing. During the last few months, we've included one or two self-improvement articles. This week nearly half the issue - five articles at the end of the menu list - is devoted to personal improvement starting with the must-read "10 Lessons Learned in Creating a Social Network." Did we plan it that way? No, it just turned out that the self-improvement articles were the most compelling of the 50 or so articles we curated during the past week. Within our normal focus, we point you to the "Content Marketing Compendium," which offers a solid introduction to this current hot topic.
